Mingyang's perovskite thin-film battery has been certified by a third party, with a conversion efficiency of over 25%, reaching a leading level
Recently, Guangdong Mingyang Thin Film Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mingyang Smart Energy, obtained the perovskite solar device efficiency certification report issued by the Fujian Institute of Metrology (report number: 23Q3-00319). The test results showed that the conversion efficiency of perovskite thin-film batteries (trans structure) reached 25.11%, once again breaking the new record of Mingyang's perovskite thin-film battery efficiency and reaching the leading level.
As one of the top 50 new energy companies in the world, Mingyang Group has five major industrial sectors: wind power, photovoltaics, energy storage, hydrogen energy and power distribution and transmission. It is a smart energy enterprise group with significant influence in the world.
Perovskite cells are a highly promising next-generation thin-film photovoltaic power generation technology, and many companies at home and abroad are actively planning them. As a reserve technology, Mingyang Group has built a first-class technical team in the field of perovskite, and established a high-efficiency perovskite solar cell experimental center, which has a complete equipment system for battery and component preparation and testing. Mingyang's perovskite R&D team is currently focusing on the trans-cell structure suitable for industrialization, and has made great progress in improving conversion efficiency, improving long-term stability, large-size thin-film technology, packaging, etc., laying a solid foundation for the recent realization of the industrialization of perovskite thin-film cells.
Mingyang's rapid development in perovskite thin-film batteries is due to its years of experience in technology research and industrialization in the field of thin-film photovoltaics. As a leading domestic cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic company, its technology level has been continuously improving. Its laboratory battery conversion efficiency exceeds 21%, and it has the thin-film battery production line with the highest single-line capacity, and the mass-produced module conversion efficiency exceeds 17%.
