Here it comes! China's first "5Z system" (Zero) building started construction in Shanghai

Recently, the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Green Technology Demonstration Building in Taopu Zhichuang City, Putuo District, Shanghai, started construction. The project has a base area of 3,422 square meters and a total construction area of 11,509 square meters. It is implemented in accordance with the highest domestic green standards, and green concepts and technologies are integrated into the design, construction, and operation and maintenance of the building throughout its life cycle, minimizing energy consumption and environmental pollution.

The project is built by Shanghai Construction Engineering's entire industry chain, integrating investment, planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance. It strives to obtain the highest scores and highest requirements of the six major green certification systems and achieve the goal of "5Z System (Zero) Green Carbon Neutral Building". It will be built into a perceptible, touchable, and world-influential green building demonstration project, which is scheduled to be completed in September 2022.
