The attenuation rate of cadmium telluride thin film modules is 0.2%As we all know, CdTe cadmium telluride thin-film power generation components have the advantages of high conversion efficiency, good weak light effect, no hot spot effect, low attenuation rate, and small tilt angle dependence. Experimental studies have shown that after 25 years of outdoor installation tests, the annual attenuation rate is only 0.5% . These CdTe thin-film power generation modules are installed in the outdoor test facility (OTF) managed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) of the U.S. Department of Energy in Colorado. The CdTe photovoltaic modules that have been tested outdoors for 25 years in the tropical arid region of Colorado are still operating well, with an annual degradation rate of only 0.5%, which means that the module still has 88% of its power generation capacity. |
